Volunteering 101
Q: What if someone asks me for money?
A: It is not appropriate to hand out money so we ask that you never carry money into the camps. That way if you are asked, the simply answer is: "I’m sorry, but I don’t have any money with me".
Q: Can I help someone either personally or financially?
A: We prefer and feel that it is in your best interest to not get personally involved with a person without bringing in a Food 4 Souls leader.
Q: What if I am asked for something that we don’t distribute?
A: Don’t promise something that you can’t follow through on. It is ok to say I don’t know, let me ask someone, or a simple no.
